Here is the current state of the as of 2025: Phase 1: The Machine Translation Era (2018–2022) Initially, the only way to play was via crude MTL (using Textractor or Luna Translator) that turned Rance’s dialogue into gibberish. This is not a full English translation and ruins the experience. Phase 2: The Partial Patch (2023) The fan team released a "Main Scenario Patch" covering 60% of the story (the "A" and "B" routes). This was playable but ignored the side-quests (called "Quests" or "C-routes"), which contain 40% of the game’s best writing.
