The “neighbors” are now fused into a single, multi-legged horror called the “Carpool Abomination.” You cannot kill it; you must distract it by playing a koto (Japanese harp) while rescuing trapped NPCs. Failure results in a cutscene where the abomination whispers, “You were always the spare tire.”
