The old "Throw the vase" trick is dead. Granny ignores vases now. Instead, use the Ice Cube item (found in the new freezer) on the floor. It creates a slippery spot. Granny slips, falls, and stays down for 4 seconds. This is your window to access the Meat Grinder.
With the Crow in the attic, running is a death sentence. Use the new "Sneak Toggle" (crouch button) to move at 50% speed. It takes longer, but the Crow won't see you. Granny 1.9 Update
